Anna Warren works in a variety of media, ranging from painting in oils and watercolour, to drawing and printmaking. She uses watercolour for botanical work, and oil paint for abstract paintings. Anna's preferred media for printmaking are lino and paper-plate lithography, although she also produces drypoint prints when suitable for the subject matter. Anna held a very successful exhibition of new paintings in February 2008. For more information, please go to the painting page.
After graduating from the London College of Printing (University of the Arts, London) with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design, (then known as Anna Read) she worked as a designer at Cassell, a London publisher.
Upon arrival in Australia, she was appointed designer at William Collins (now Harper Collins). When her first child was born she took her work home with her, and has continued to work as a freelance designer and illustrator ever since.
Part of her week is devoted to drawing, painting and printmaking, and Anna regularly exhibits her work through art societies and independently.
